Ageliki will gently awaken our bodies and senses with some nice Ki health yoga 5 minute warm up and stretching for five minutes Twenty minutes of standing asanas. Twenty minutes of sitting down asanas and floor work, ten minute meditation,with relaxing music, also after the class you will be treated to an aromatherapy massage 

( dottera ) and Indian head massage .

'Tapping Into Tapas'

The word 'tapas' is derived from the root Sanskrit verb 'tap' which means to burn. It is the 3rd of Patanjali's Niyamas and traditionally it is interpreted as 'fiery discipline'. It is the fiery motivation within us all that keeps us coming back to our mats, and getting up no matter how many times we fall, it's that spark that keeps us chasing our dreams no matter how far out of reach they may seem. Sometimes though, that fire within us can dim, and when it does we tend to feel unmotivated and/or indecisive. But it is just at that precise moment when you need to cultivate your tapas the most! In this heat building Vinyasa class we will working on igniting our inner Agni (fire) in order to burn away all impurities of the mind and body in order to spark a new sense of passion into our yoga practice.

                                                                                  'Open Your Heart Flow'

​

The main goal of this yoga class is to awaken the heart chakra.

This yoga sequence is perfect for beginner to intermediate students to energize the body and lift your spirits. It also includes a few simple postures to release tension in the shoulders and open across the chest.

Heart openers expand your chest and rib cage, making them more receptive and free. When you have a rounded back and your chest collapses, it's a posture of meekness and submission. Opening your heart does the exact opposite, telegraphing confidence and authority. Spending long hours working at desks, bent over keyboards makes the spine rounded, which causes back pain. It's important to counteract this posture with heart openers.

Vinyasa Krama in the lineage of Krishnamacrya You may recognize the name Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, and you've probably heard of three of his students: B.K.S. Iyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois, and T.K.V. Desikachar, Born in 1888 in Mysore, India, Krishnamacharya received his first instruction in Sanskrit and yoga from his father, his teachings are considered as some of the greatest authority of yoga in our modern day. After studying Prana Vinyasa, a very therapeutic, systematic and all inclusive style of vinyasa karma at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai I would like to share a traditional vinyasa class with you - be warned, this might change your idea of vinyasa yoga completely!
